2nd GRADE TEACHER
I graduated from The University of Arizona in 2007.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I minored in Family Studies and Human Development.
I began teaching in 2021. This will be my second year teaching at Everett Elementary. I teach 2nd grade ELAR and Social Studies.
I have worked with children throughout college and my professional life. I have volunteered as a mentor for at risk youth and taught primary age children through my church. I’ve worked for a non-profit teaching various life skills programs through middle and high schools in rural areas of Arizona. Prior to teaching at North Lamar, I was a stay at home mom and substitute teacher.
I have been married for 17 years. We have three pretty awesome kids. They all attend North Lamar. This year I will have a freshman, 5th grader, and 3rd grader.
I love kayaking and hiking with my family. I also dabble in wood working and refinishing furniture. I love to read and am always looking for good book suggestions. My husband and I have enjoyed many dates to the movies.
