Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Paris High School in 1988.

I graduated from PJC in 1999.

I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in 2000.

I graduated from Lamar University in 2018.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have an Associate of Science from Paris Junior College.  

I have a Bachelor degreee in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood.

I have a Masters degree in School Counseling.  

Current Position:

I am starting my 22 year in education.  I started my career at North Lamar 14 years ago.  I am in my fifth year as the school counselor here at Everett Elementary.  

Previous Position:

I started my career at Aikin Elementary teaching 1st grade in 2000.  Then, I taught 2nd grade at Marion Elementary in Allen, Texas.  When I moved back to Paris, I started teaching 3rd grade at North Lamar.  I taught 3rd grade up until I started my counseling position here at Everett.  

Family Information:

I am married to Jeremy Prunty.  We have two daughters, Cerah and Sydnee.  Cerah is a hair stylist in Frisco.  Sydnee is married to Cory Compton, and they have a daughter named Indee Jean.  We have three dogs:  Cash, Ace, and Cane.

Personal Information:

When I am not at school, I enjoy being with my family and playing golf with my husband.
